The "Fittest Woman in the U.S." and South Regional Champion is back to win it all as an OPEX Sponsored Athlete.
Tennil is the embodiment of what it means to live, breathe and be an athlete. She's played soccer, gymnastics, track, and swimming.
In her second appearance at the games, she took 6th pace overall and received the "Most Improved" athlete title after a 1st place finish in the Obstacle Course and a 2nd place finish in the "Strongman's Fear" event.

Hailing from Chicago, Austin is no stranger to competition. Much of his early life passions and pursuits involved athletic events. In high-school he played football, wrestling, and track. Having accomplished his goals within these sports he sought out a new physical trial, which he discovered in CrossFit.
Realizing the need for a professional coach in the evolving sport, he sought out the guidance of the best coaches. This led him to OPEX's Remote Coaching program.
Now as an OPEX Sponsored Athlete, Austin has taken the leap and decided to follow his dream of making it the Games by training at OPEX HQ with James FitzGerald and his coach Mike Lee.
A lifelong athlete with a diverse background including competitive cheer, bodybuilding, and strength & conditioning, Rachel fell in love with CrossFit Competition during her first Open in 2014.
It was her commitment to this new sport that helped her secure a spot in the 2016 and 2017 South Regionals. However, an injury in the 2017 Regionals forced her to withdraw.
Realizing that her training style needed to change she sought out OPEX coaching.
Now she's ready to take her fitness to the next level as an OPEX Sponsored Athlete.
Amanda Goodman, 2014 South-West Regional Champion and three times CrossFit Games Veteran, is back with a vengeance. Though she took a break from the competition in 2016 and 2017, she has maintained and pushed her elite level of fitness. Amanda is the embodiment of the competitive spirit and her fierce demeanor and "killer" instinct is what sets her apart from any other CrossFit Athlete.
Though he may be young, Jake Berman has been involved in CrossFit since he was 13 years old. He has attended the CrossFit Games Regionals four times, twice on a team, and twice as an individual. Despite his strongest performance yet at the Atlantic Regional this past year, he ended up in 16th place. When OPEX Fitness reached out to offer Jake Berman a sponsorship, it was an easy decision for him to move out to Arizona and get to the next level in his competitive journey.
