Growing up, I always pushed the envelope when it came to fitness. Being a competitive tennis player for over 10 years, I consistently looked for opportunities to challenge myself not only on the court but also in the weight room. When CrossFit was introduced into my training regimen, I never looked back. For 8 years, I was involved in CrossFit and was a competitive Weightlifter which eventually led to me qualifying for the North American Open Series. After moving around to 4 different states for work, I finally settled down in Chicago with my husband Robert and our two dogs Laura and Nala. Knowing my love for fitness and anything with a barbell, I decided to take a step into coaching to empower others to achieve their fitness goals.
WHY ARE YOU A FITNESS COACH?
I'm a fitness coach because fitness has always been my passion and journey. From competitive tennis to CrossFit and weightlifting, I've experienced the transformative power of physical activity firsthand. Settling in Chicago allowed me to turn my love for fitness into a career. Coaching gives me the chance to share my expertise, motivate others, and make a positive impact on their lives. It's about empowering individuals to reach their goals and fostering healthier lifestyles. That's why I'm a fitness coach: to inspire others to realize their full potential, inside and outside the gym.
HOW HAS CCP SHAPED YOUR COACHING PRACTICE?
I have implemented the Opex CCP principles with my private clients, but also to my staff at CrossTown Fitness. We use the structure that has transformed our Personal Training business.

I wouldn't call it a hobby, but I love playing and snuggling with my dogs. It's how I recenter and unwind.
