“When we use the term athlete, we are describing individuals who are going after something and they’re willing to lose everything to achieve it. They go all in for pleasure, pain, points, and prizes with the sacrifice of maximum physical expression. For health and wellness, we push folks towards vitality. There is a sweet spot for fitness at which point climbing it further leads to sickness and disease, NOT increased biomarkers as you have been sold. If you want to be elite, you’ll have to pay the price of admission, where the rewards are honorable but are NOT connected to health.” – OPEX Fitness Founder, James “OPT” FitzGerald
