As we evolve into a technology company, our flagship products, CoachRx and LearnRx, are designed to revolutionize the way coaches deliver personalized training and continuous learning. You will primarily work on CoachRx, our platform for fitness coaches to design, deliver, and scale their coaching businesses. Join us in shaping the future of fitness coaching

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicate with our customers to understand their problems, needs and desired outcomes.

  • Drive the full design process, work through solutions from beginning to end, translating the above into high quality wireframes, prototypes, and designs (We use Figma).

  • Work closely with our development team to build, iterate, and ship your solutions to our growing customer base of 2,000+ coaches & gyms.

  • Expand OPEX’s design system and establish OPEX’s design practices & culture

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 4+ years in designing SaaS applications for both web and mobile platforms. Proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-centric designs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail with a high bar for quality in both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and highly functional designs and user flows

  • User Research Skills: Strong skills in conducting user research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and other methods to gather insights and inform design decisions.

  • Self-Driven: Highly motivated and self-driven, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Pragmatic: Ability to navigate trade-offs and make pragmatic decisions, keeping designs simple yet effective. Proven ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

  • Proficient with Figma: Expertise in using Figma for designing and prototyping. Ability to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that communicate design ideas effectively.

  • Technical Skills: Comfortable setting up and working within a local development environment, particularly with React and Rails. Understanding of front-end and back-end development processes to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Nice to Haves:

  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS: Strong skills in HTML and CSS, with the ability to create responsive, accessible, and maintainable web interfaces.

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS:  Ability to efficiently style applications and create consistent, high-quality user interfaces with Tailwind.

  • Background in Fitness or Experience in Fitness Software: A background in the fitness industry or prior experience working at a fitness software company. Understanding of the unique needs and challenges within the fitness sector, and a passion for creating solutions that enhance the experience for coaches and clients alike.
